Activities in wintery Livigno

As SilviCamp is not a  travel agency promoting Livigno, we will only give you a few impressions of what you can do in Livigno. For further information please check the Livigno web site livnet.it.

Skiing

One of the ski guidesThere are several ski schools in Livigno and we recommend that you compare the companies in respect to price and duration before booking. Please consider for your budget planning that the ski pass has to be paid in addition to the cost of the class itself. This may well double the cost. You also should be tolerant to the common practice, at least with some companies, that the actual duration of the class may be as short as 90 minutes instead of the advertised 2 hours.

Livigno is offering 30 ski lifts with an accumulated capacity of 40.000 skiers per hour. There are 110 km of lopes for the most part with phantastic views of the Alps, in particular towards the Ortler area.

The ski lopes are located on either side of the valley. Changing the skiing area during the day involves a crossing of the valley and is cumbersome unless combined with a lunch at home.

Free public transportation by bus is made available at no cost to the guest. Three bus lines provide continuous service during the day and stop often. The exact routes are posted at every bus stop. This is a very convenient service.
