Buying solar panels for a shiing trip might not be the best investment. Better may be a generator.

Don't even think of coffee machines, hair dryers or even electric heating. You'll be happy to have your battery charged and the heating blowers running.

The disadvantage of the generators however is the noise and the smell. With motorhomes parked only 5 feet from each other and generators running until late at night preventing children from sleep patience sometimes may be wearing thin.

Power is essential for surviving and the priorities are clear: me first.
